Aims and Objectives

The primary objectives of the International Institute of Clinical and Medical Hypnosis are:-

To promote the recognition of hypnotherapy as a separate and distinct profession.

To promote the recognition of hypnosis as a viable and effective technique in psychosomatic Medicine.

To promote legislation affecting the use of hypnosis through professional training organisation.

To register, persons who use hypnosis in their professional practices.

To compile a directory of persons registered, and to refer them to anyone seeking help through hypnosis.

To provide Continuing Further / Higher Education Programs in hypnosis and related area’s.

To provide specialised training for students of hypnotherapy.

To provide on going training in the most up to date techniques for professional therapists.

To represent the therapeutic & clinical discipline of hypnotherapy.

To promote hypnosis/hypnotherapy in a professional manner throughout the UK.

To protect and serve public interest.

To work in conjunction with the medical profession to allow conventional and complimentary medicine to aid each other where and when possible, and to allow the Medical Profession to realise the benefits of our science.

To establish professional codes and standards in the practice of Hypnotherapy.
